I bought a replacement battery tray, and bolted it
to the foot from the original tray. The tray
attaches to the car with 4 bolts into the inner
fender, and 1 bolt into the radiator support
bracket.
I also bought an anti-squeak kit from the National
Chevy Association, which consisted of a few strips
of spongy rubber, and some gaskets cut to fit the
interfaces between the fenders. The originals were
held in place with staples—I opted to glue the new
ones in place. I don’t have great pictures of the
locations, but the kit comes with good directions.
