This is a picture taken inside the outer fender on
the driver’s side, after reassembly. The inner
fender attaches to the front lip of the outer
fender with screws which also then connect to the
front grill chrome (red circles). Screws (green
circles) also attach the bottom of the inner fender
to the front skirt. (On my car, one of these is
actually a bolt.) The rear lip of the front skirt
is sandwiched between the front lip of the outer
fender, and the bumper support—all of which is held
with several 5/16 inch nuts and bolts (yellow
circles, only two bolts shown). Finally, the turn
signal chrome is attached with 4 screws passing
through the outer fender (orange circle, only 1
screw shown). Make sure you use a short screw for
the rear-most attach point—otherwise, you may end
up poking through the chrome.
